Romantic Scenes from Tamil Movies - Virtuous & Decent

I am a Scorpio. Someone born between October 23rd and November 21st. They say we are emotional and passionate. I am, I guess. Scorpios are claimed to be passionate in romance and compassionate in friendship. That, I am unsure of. But, today's post is about romanticism. Scorpio or not, I am a super romantic at heart and a sweet sentimental in soul.
What comes next is a list of Tamil movie scenes and songs that I hold close to heart due to the clean, virtuous and decent romance in them.
Love - is always pure. Everything else, comes next.
Read on. Hope you will enjoy them, as much as I do.
This entire post is dedicated to that sweet someone named Mog♥n.....
Good Day!!!
1. Alaipayuthey - My All Time Favourite movie. My Numero Uno. One of my very favourite scenes from this movie. Love is like the sun coming out of the clouds and warming your soul. Waiting is agonizing, but knowing that the wait will end blithely, is rewarding. The scene that I would rate 11/10. Ya. You read it right. 11/10.
2. Alaipayuthey – Again. Another scene that I truly love, from this iconic movie. 00:45 to 00:18. Scores an absolute, perfect 10.
3. Katrathu Thamizh @ Tamil M.A - The one that stands second in my all time favourite movies. I remember crying so much during this particular scene of this awesome movie. Kahlil Gibran said, “Love has no desire but to fulfill itself.  To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night.  To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving.” Love is about loving – wholeheartedly. It is never about taking but always about giving. 01:04 sets of a stunning dialogue from Jeeva, and, Maestro Illayaraja weaves in his magic at 01:20. An excellent song from recent times.
4. Katrathu Thamizh @ Tamil M.A – Yet again. Another one, from a movie I hold close to heart. A movie that I recommend people to watch. Love makes saying goodbye so hard. Just like this scene. 00:30 to 02:40 is marveling. So touching.
5. Kandukonden Kandukonden - Never apologize for showing feeling.  When you do so, you apologize for the truth. ~Benjamin Disraeli~ So agree. Beauty is not in the face but a light in the heart. Love looks at the heart. Love grows from the heart.
6. Kaaka Kaaka – The movie which took Indian audience by storm. Such a direct, honest and open dialogue exchanged between two hearts in love. Wow !!
7. Jillendru Oru Kaathal - Such a romantic scene. Semma romantic,  we would call it in Tamil. The soul that can speak through the eyes can also kiss with a gaze. ~Gustavo Adolfo Becquer~ That is exactly what the hero does to the heroine. Kiss through a gaze. Sweet, huh ? Love is always about those small things that put a huge smile on your face. Must watch. Must listen (with full attention).
8. Subramaniapuram – Another movie that I believed, was awesomely directed by the multi talented Sasikumar and Samuthrakani duo. The robbed that smiles, steals something from the thief.  ~William Shakespeare, Othello~ Shakespeare could have not said it better when it comes to the matters of the heart. He robs her of her heart. And, yet, she smiles. She, too, steals, from him, the thief. His heart. How sweet.
9. Kanda Naal Muthal - The best way to get something done is to begin. Silence is sweet, no doubt. But courage is better.  (p/s : look who’s talking???)
10. Pasanga – One great Tamil movie that you should not miss. I like this scene for touching on human compassion. This is romantic in its own way. Love is not just about holding hands and gazing into each other’s eyes. It is also, about being there when they need you, most. Love, is, after all, strength and encouragement.
11. Siva Manasula Sakthi - Pain reaches the heart with electrical speed, but truth moves to the heart as slowly as a glacier. Love takes times. Realization never, fast.
12. Jodha Akbar (Tamil) – I watched the Hindi version and fell hard for the movie. Their eyes speak their heart. And, when God connects two hearts, nothing can and will ever go wrong. I do not want to dwell further. Watch for yourself. ManMohana ??? Aaahhhhhaaaaaaaaa ;-) (that's a wink, for sure..)
13. Bheema – This was chosen for its beautifully romantic video illustration. Totally unpretentious. Sweetly sentimental.
14. Ayan – Simply cute. Trying to knock sense into someone who already knows your heart is a hard thing.
15. Deepavali – Still virtuous and clean – actually. She is just tempting him, in a very cute way. And, he plays with it pretty well. Well set chemistry.

Love your site Shalinee. Extremely helpful for good Tamil movie fans that are out of the country and married to non-Tamil speaking spouses. Keep updating so that I don't waste time and money watching crap.
