Last night I watched "Naan Ee". It turned out to be a great entertainer. The only con, for me, was that I watched it on DVD. This is one that you need to watch in the theaters. For its awesome and convincing graphics, and a very offbeat story line. The fly, the villain - Sudeep (he deserves a standing ovation) and the angelic Samantha have, all, done a great job. Even Nani (and Santhanam), though short while, played their parts convincingly. Don't miss this one. Go watch, if you find the time.
There are lots of Tulsi plants thriving in Amma's garden. I forked them out, roots and all, and have planted them in pots, neatly arranged in our courtyard. They are beautiful, and are my source of inspiration. Tulsi, the holy Basil - the symbol of faithfulness. The symbol of love and devotion. The plant adored by Lord Vishnu and offered to him in every ritual. The Lord I so revere, and who is constantly fulfilling all my wishes.
Chandrodayam Oru Pennanatho ? is a 1966 masterpiece by MSV. Lyrics are by the always young and imaginative Vaali. Sung by TMS and P Suseela for the movie Chandrodayam - this is a stellar. Old songs stay around to tug your heart. This is a good example. It is happy and optimistic.
"நெஞ்சோடு நீ சேர்த்த பொருளல்லவோ?
எந்நாளும் பிரியாத உறவல்லவோ?
அலையோடு பிறவாத கடல் இல்லையே .....
நிழலோடு நடக்காத உடல் இல்லையே.....
துடிக்காத இமையோடு விழியில்லையே.....
துணையோடு சேராத இனமில்லையே.....
என் மேனி உனதன்றி எனதில்லையே....."
Beautifully said, are they not ?????
May God bless all of you. Have a safe and happy week ahead. Life is short. Make the best out of it.....
Stay sweet. See ya !!!
