Engume Anandam from Bale Raman

One of Appa's favourite hum. A classic that you cannot get bored of. Yours truly, too.
Did you know that this movie was released in 1956 in Tamil & Telegu. This song was the masterpiece of Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao. Appa has talked lot of him. Ghantasala. A genius during his era. He must be. If not, how can his compositions still have listening power, despite all these years ?
I have a date tomorrow. No. Not with that super sweet guy named Mogan. It is with two girlfriends. We have planned an evening pre-Deepavali shopping at Penang's famous Little India. The festive atmosphere is already in the air - especially, in that area. I don't have anything in particular, that I want to get. My Deepavali churidar suits and sarees were bought months back, in February 2011, in my favourite country, India. I did see a beautiful, yellow with golden polka dots and puffed sleeves patiala suit some time back, while shopping there, with Akka. Might get it if it is yet to be purchased. It was such an ease to the eyes.
Glad, it is already Thursday, today. Tomorrow, comes, my favourite day. That, too with evening plans.
Take care, God bless - and, ya, enjoy this song. "எங்குமே ஆனந்தம்" - means, happiness every where. Ya. That is how life should be. With happiness, every where. In your heart, soul and mind....
