Vanakkam Vazhavaikkum Chennai from Marina

10.21pm, Saturday. Right now. The time in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Yes. I am here. In my very favourite city. The weather has been good to us.  Yes!!! The weather has been great. Cloudy. Windy. Just the right amount of sun. Even the feared, Cyclone Mahasen has weakened, say reports. Yippiee Di Yaa Yaa. The exclamation I use when I am in a state of delirium. I am. Right now. I will never be able to explain the amount of happiness that I am feeling at this very moment, now that I am living my days and nights, in the city I hold close to my heart and soul. Neither would anyone be able to measure it. Yes. Yes. Yes. I love this city, heaps. 

Watched Vijay's Deepavali release, "Thuppaki" at PVR Ampa Skywalk. I would not say it is a great watch. Tolerable, simply put. Unlike many of his other movies, which depict him in superhero mode. This was directed by the sensible AR Murugadoss and thankfully, Vijay shown as us, fellow mortals. 

During the movie, they showed trailers of "Kumki" and "Neethane En Ponvasantham". The two movies I am eagerly looking forward to. The ones definitely on fellow zealots list.

My vacation to India is beautiful. From the very first moment, my flight took off. I enjoyed every day that has since passed. And, am looking forward to the remaining days I will have in this awesome city. God's and Appa's presence is nestled in my soul. Mom and my sister are close by. My travel companions.
