Heard this song a few times, prior to watching the movie. But, when I did, with special mention of the part where the song appears, I was bowled over. And, charmed. The entire movie, itself, calls for a standing ovation. A heartfelt applaud, that Tamil movies have come so far.
If Angadi Theru mesmerized me with the simplicity of life and love, Madharasapattinam gripped me with the power of patriotism, allegiance and the perplexity of love. And, the best part of it - Madharasapattinam was unblemished, free from vulgarity and congruous to everyone.
This song is magical. Bountiful and beautiful Tamil lyrics. I cannot seem to get enough of it.
