Malaiyooru Naatamai from Mambattiyan (2011)

Love is like a war:Easy to begin Hard to end!
I cracked open a love cookie at Horoscope.Com, and that is what it said. Oh, ya. What news. I mean, what information. I have loads of work to do. But am feeling all restless and edgy. Nothing to blame this mood swing on. We all have those days, do not we? When, all you want to do is, go to the quieter part of the beach, lie on a large towel spread on the silky soft sand with the cool continuous breeze sweeping on you, gaze at the blue skies and the cotton clouds, and listen to the waves symphony you to slumber land. Hmm. Sounds lovely. Wish I could get up and drag myself there, right now. Wishful thinking. Work. Lots of them. All pending and delayed.
I want something happy for today. Something cheerful and joyous. My mind is playing arpeggios. Thinking. What? What? What? First choice, would of course, be Othasollala from Aadukalam. But, that has been done. What next? Happy. Ya. I know. A very new song. Heard it on Tamilwire, first. From the upcoming Malaiyoor Mambatiyan 2011. Playful lyrics to a rather fetching melody. Happy music. Foot tapping music.
Love is NEVER like a war. Whoever said that must be a lunatic. Love is peace, truce, compromise, agreement, calm, concord and stability. It is a beautiful beginning and one without an end. Infinity. Ubiquity. If you have been in love, you would know. Love teaches us to be optimist, and never the other way around. I am - optimistic, and looking forward to a bed of roses with the Almighty's blessings - all while, being love. You do too. Leave the skeptic in his primeval space.
