1)What is your favourite book, and movie?
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. My favourite movie would ALWAYS be Alaipayuthey. My number one, since the first time I watched it. Utmostly romantic.
Still Little Women. The one I read recently was "I too had a love story" by Ravinder Singh. Poignant one. Still Alaipayuthey. Always, Alaipayuthey.
2)What colour are your socks now?
I am unshod. Sock are unrequired.
I am in Malaysia, for heaven's sake. It is 33 °C but feels like it is actually 39 °C. So, why would I need socks ?
3)What are you listening to now?
Un Paarvayil Orrayiram from Amman Kovil Kizhakale.
Kodi Kodi Aasaigal from Kaathalar Kudiyirupu. Such beautiful lyrics.
4)What was the last thing you ate?
Hazelnut dipped chocolates.
Amma's signature Vegetarian Fried Noodles - while watching Manmadhan Ambu.
5) Are you too shy to ask someone out?
Yeah. Would prefer it to be the other way round.
Still yes. Still shy. I am still adamant about the guy making the first move. Call me orthodox or Victorian - which ever suits you. This is me.
6)Last person you spoke to on phone?
My Akka. Meaning, sister in Tamil.

7)Do you like the person who sent you this?
No one sent me this. I copied paste from a website. And, no, this is not plagiarizing. It’s called tagging.
And, this is called re-tagging or rather, updating a tag. Hehe.
8)How happy are you today?
Fairly happy.
Happy, happy. When love fills the heart to the brim, happiness can never be far away. Agree ?
9)What is your favourite sport to watch on TV?
I don’t watch sports. But, rhythmic gymnastics is interesting. And, so is diving.
Watched the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, until the wee hours of the morning, some time back - all the while praying and practically begging God to let India win. She DID. India, I mean. And, I went to bed with the widest grin you can imagine. I am a patriotic NRI.
10)What are your favourite drinks?
On a hot day, Mooru. The Indian version of lemonade, except that this is a mixture of buttermilk, a pinch of salt, some spices and curry leaves.
On a cold day, a cup of Madras Filter Coffee.
Right now, a chilled chocolate milk shake would do wonders. But, what I will be getting in the next few minutes is Amma's special brewed tea, which I am so addicted to.

11)Have you ever dyed your hair?
Ya. Back then. During Uni days.
Ya. Back then. It has been ages now. I am happily settled with my jet black hair.
12)Favourite food?
Deep Fried Squid Rings dipped in Chilly Sauce, squeezed with lemon.
Developed a crush for Laddu's after my recent vacation to India. And, Japanese Tempura, after a dinner get together with friends. And, I have a huge fondness for chocolates and ice creams.
13)Last movie watched?
Madrasapattinam. Loved it.
Kullanari Kootam. A good one. Something you feel at ease watching with family. Not many Tamil movies allow you that likelihood now.
14)Favourite day of the year?
Deepavali, I guess. Everyone is at home, and it is just boisterous.
Ya, still Deepavali. For the same reasons. I also love the moments when my flight is about to take off to India. And, Valentine's 2011. It was perfect.
15)How do you vent out your anger?
Cry. Or just keep mum.
Cry. Go to bed. Or talk to myself. I mean, mumble to myself. Something like that. Gone are the days when tantrums were shown on people and inanimate, idle objects. Age, sanity and patience have caught up with me.
16)Favourite toy as a child?
A fluffy teddy bear which has since gone M-I-A.
That same teddy bear. The one that is still unaccounted for.
17)Favourite season?
Summer. Hot but happy.
Festive season, when there are lots of holidays. The Malaysian government is rather generous when it comes to national and public holidays. I love them heaps because I get to relax, unwind and enjoy the moments. But, summer remain close to heart - as always. Hot, happy and high-spirited.
18)Do you want your friends to email you?
Ya… although, I would prefer them to call.
Which ever they prefer. But for me, a call, would mean more. As, would a surprise visit.
19)When was the last time you cried?
During a movie scene in Angadi Theru. Two weeks back.
Thursday night. The doctor made me got through an agonizing and caustic session of physiotherapy for my back ache. It made me better, though.
20)What is on the floor of your closet?
Clothes that can’t be hung. Neatly folded.
The same as above. I also have all my knickknacks, aptly arranged in a plastic box.
21)Who is the favourite flower ?
The gerbera. And, lavenders.
Still gerberas. Still lavenders. I love bright, vibrant colours and subtle scents.
22)What did you do last night?
Listened to lots and lots of KJ Yesudas, until way past midnight.
Revamped my blog, to my liking.
23)What are you most afraid of?
Losing people I adore.
Losing people I adore. Still. Relationships mean the world to me.
24)Plain,cheese or spicy hamburger?
Neither. I would prefer a good South Indian Thali Set.
A plain chicken hamburger with extra tomatoes, salad and mayo. Sounds appetizing.
25)Favourite dog breed?
Dalmations. Aren’t they all spotty and cute ??
Dalmations still at my No.1 spot. Followed by the Golden Retriever and the super cute Chihuahua.
26)Favorite day of the week?
Saturday, the Jolly Day.
Saturday. Saturday. Saturday. If you read my blogs, you will understand why.
27) Is there anybody you just wish would fall off the planet?
Ya. Terrorists. And Racists.
The above still applies. People who lack average level of etiquette should, too.
28)Diamond or pearl?
Platinum.
Yup. Still very much a platinum person.
29)What is your wish for this new year?
It’s a silent wish. Not something to be blogged about.
New Year was like 5 months back. Wishes were made and fulfilled, moderately. There are still a couple more. Keeping my fingers crossed. Faith can move mountains, they say.
30)New year resolutions?
Still 3 months away. Can I take my time to answer ?
Already 5 months ahead. Can I wait another 7 months ?
31) Would you rather be a fish or a bird?
A fish. I am a beach freak. I am crazy about the sea, the ocean. I love, anything, water.
A fish, anytime given. I am a water person.
32) What is your favorite Harrison Ford movie?
Of course, the first thing that comes to mind, would be Indiana Jones.
But, I am going for Sabrina.
It is always going to be Sabrina. I love romantic movies.
33)What do you do when no one is watching?
Talk to myself.
Dream. Pray silently. Mumble to myself.
34)Where were you born?
In Sungai Petani, Kedah. A small, beautiful town in West Malaysia.
OMG. You cannot ask this question again and again. The answer is always going to be same. Right ?
35)Isn’t walking in the leaves romantic?
Walking in the rain is even more.
Walking in the rain, is super romantic. Walking in the leaves is enchanting. Walking hand in hand is idyllic. Walking alone but knowing it will lead you to the one you so love, is an ultimatum.
36)What makes you smile?
Another smile. A beautiful thought. The wonders of nature.
Plenty of things, now. Another smile, definitely. A beautiful thought, still. Nature, surely. My favourite name popping on my mobile caller display. A mushy message. Good memories that come flooding on your mind at the weirdest of hours.
37) Have you ever walked out on the break water to a light house?
Wow. Sounds cool. Never, but wish someone would ask me to.
I still wish someone would ask me to. It would be picture perfect, if it happened while I am in Kanyakumari. The lighthouse there is awesome.
38) What's a word that you say a lot?
Oh God !!!

39) What is your current desktop picture?
Of Pazhani Hills, Tamil Nadu, at night. It is awesome and inspiring.
Still the same Pazhani Hills at night. It is breathtakingly beautiful - to the eyes, heart and soul.40)If you were a crayon what color would you be?
Orange.
Red. And, orange. Bright, vibrant colours.
