Katrile Katrile from Madraspattinam

I Would Ask For Still More
I would ask for still more, if I had the sky with all its stars, and the world with its endless riches; but I would be content with the smallest corner of this earth if only she were mine.......
Patience
If thou speakest not I will fill my heart with thy silence and endure it.
I will keep still and wait like the night with starry vigil
and its head bent low with patience.
The morning will surely come, the darkness will vanish,
and thy voice pour down in golden streams breaking through the sky.
Then thy words will take wing in songs from every one of my birds' nests,
and thy melodies will break forth in flowers in all my forest groves.

Tagore. Rabindranath Tagore. He penned them both. So very comforting. I like the alleviation it gives me. I miss my father. My India. And, a whole lot of things. Of mortal sense and sensibility. So perplexing. So constantly changing. If only I could comprehend them - life would be a breeze.
I miss the country where my soul resides. My Bharatha Maatha. She awed me from day one. Still does. Love this song. For reminding of India. For 01:30 to 01:40.
