Engengey Nee Sendra Bothum from Ninaika Terindha Maname.

Watched Eesan during the weekend, and cannot stop but eulogize and salute Sasikumar and Samudrakani for their bold and unabashed storyline. However, it is rather disheartening to read that this movie did not fascinate the Indian audience.  How daunting. But, there are, many out there, who have appreciated their effort and servitude. I am one.

The first half of the movie touches on the pros and cons of politics. Affairs of the state. The lives of politicians and their family, the extents they go to, the power they so almost abuse, and the night life of the rich in Chennai - something rarely exposed in Tamil movies. The unmasking was very actual. It is the thrill of where the movie is actually heading to, that makes you inquisitive. And, you will have to wait for a quick but never dragging, one hour and forty minutes or so, before, the real story begins. That style itself needs an applaud.

Second half of the story is regale. And, not to mention tear jerking and at times, antagonizing. But, in the end, you will be pleased as punch. Eesan is a good, appeasing Tamil movie of recent times. Do watch, especially if you are an avant-garde.

Special mention to Sasikumar, Samudrakani, Vaibhav Reddy and the gorgeous Abinaya. And, James Vasantham, for the beautiful Kannil Anbil song.

Listen to this one. It is Engengey Nee Sendra Bothum from Ninaika Terindha Maname. Lyrics are just mindblowing. Nostalgic for a romantic at heart like me. It has been playing for a while on my head now. Head not I-Pod, mind you. Life is beautiful when you make them so. So, go out, and make the best of each day. Live life for the moment. God is with us. Everyone of us. With you. With me. With Tom, Harry, Sally. With Tamilarasan, Harikumar and Sarathi. Cheers !!!!!
