Chotta Chotta Nanaya Vaithaai from Engeyum Eppothum

I love things which are done candid and unpretentiously. I adore simple stuff. This song is a current craze, thanks to its free spirited and laid back video narration. I have been trying high and low to get hold of this movie. Intuition says it would be a definite, worthwhile watch. So, do many reviews. Behindwoods gave the film 3 out of 5 and cited that it was a "loveable tale of commoners and their destiny" that had "simplicity as its biggest strength".

The Tamil movie industry is growing positively. This one does not come with a big budget or huge names, but has been the talk of many. I will watch, soon - come what may. Movies like these are not meant to be missed. And, as you know, I am a zealot for good, virtuous Tamil movies. 

Anjali. She is one of few talented actress, of present times, that does not bank in solely on glamour and glitz. She is an actress in all rights. Katrathu Thamizh, Angadi Theru and Toonga Nagaram, among her credentials. I am uncertain about what this movie is all about, but she makes me inquisitive, thanks to her naughty, flirtatious, bold and enticing character, in contrast of the shy, meek and timid Jay, in this song. 

Watch this song. Watch. Ya, watch. Not just listen. It is so very pleasing. Something that will put a huge smile on your face. 

All rave and recognition must go to newcomer M. Saravanan for direction, writing and screenplay and A.R Murugadoss for producing. Na. Muthukumar's lyrics for this song and the duet between Chinmayi and Satya is all flawless.

Sunday evening in this part of the world. Monday comes a calling tomorrow. Deepavali, just 2 weeks and a few days ahead. Spring cleaning has started. Baking cakes and cookies, would too, come next week. 

I had a wonderful week, last. Looking forward and praying to an equally good or awesomely better one, this  time around, too.
